Last December, in the wake of Typhoon Sendong, Filipino-American rapper, apl.de.ap visited Cagayan de Oro to see the magnitude of the calamity first-hand. Coming upon a ravaged Balulang Elementary School, he vowed to rebuild its damaged classrooms.

Nine months later, he revisited Balulang to fulfil his promise.

On the third anniversary of Typhoon Ondoy, some 200 volunteers converged last September 25 in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, to participate in Clean Up the World (CUW) 2012.
