Epson Supports Relief Efforts

Typhoon Pablo (International name: Bopha) struck Mindanao and southern parts of the Philippines from December 4 to 5, causing widespread devastation.

Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., Philippine Epson Optical Inc., Epson Philippines Corporation, and Seiko Epson Corporation have donated one million pesos (approx. US$24,400) to assist people affected by the disaster. The money was donated through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), a local nonprofit organization.

In addition to the donation, employees from the three local Epson companies will cooperate with PBSP in the distribution of relief goods to the affected areas.

Epson wishes to extend its sympathy to the affected families, and hopes for the speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster.
