HRC and Oxfam’s Typhoon Pablo Emergency Response activities during the Christmas break

The Humanitarian Response Consortium (HRC) and Oxfam have launched an emergency response in New Bataan in Compostela Valley and in Boston and Cateel in Davao Oriental.
The said response ought to provide emergency shelter composed of tents, tarps and ropes and hygiene kits to 8,000 families affected in the Municipalities of Cateel and Boston in Davao del Norte while 3,000 families in evacuation centers in New Bataan in Compostella Valley will be provided with hyposol, bladder and taps to ensure access to safe water; hygiene and water kits, and portalets for sanitation.
In line with its ongoing Typhoon Pablo Emergency Response, the Humanitarian Response Consortium and Oxfam’s Typhoon Pablo Response will have key activities this week and next week in time for Christmas break in the Municipalities of Compostela and New Bataan in Compostella Valley:
  • December 21-22: Hygiene and water kits distribution – Municipality of Compostela, Compostella Valley
  • December 22: Hygiene promotion session – Municipality of Compostella, Compostella Valley
  • December 26-29: Home return kit distribution – Municipalities of Compostella and New Bataan
  • December 27-28: Water quality monitoring training – Municipalities of Compostella and New Bataan.
