Press Release from ECHOStore
ECHOstore Branch Now in Quezon City
Sharing sustainable practices in everyday life means adopting a healthier, green lifestyle. This has been what ECHOstore Sustainable Lifestyle has focused on since it opened in 2008, with the clear direction of empowering people to be conscious consumers to live healthy, to help the earth buy buying green products, supporting local producers, farmers and community groups.
With a tri-concept of a store-market and café now in its flagship branch at Serendra, Fort Bonifacio Global City, the ECHOtrio founders, Chit Juan, Jeannie Javelosa and Reena Francisco open their third branch in Quezon City through a licensing partnership with Chris and Sharon Chua.
(Photo above shows facade of The ECHOstore Centris branch in ETON Centris Mall, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue is open mall hours and has the tri-concept of the store-market-cafe and even a kiddie interactive play corner. Photo courtesy of ECHOstore.)
"Chris and Sharon came to us asking if they could open ECHOstore and we saw how passionate they were about living healthy and instilling in their three sons a healthy lifestyle and a green environment conscious mindset!", says Juan, President of ECHOstore.
"We also saw this as a chance to answer the constant request of our loyal costumers who live in the Quezon City area to open an ECHOstore in their side of town."
The newly opened ECHOstore Sustainable Lifestyle branch at Centris Walk, Eton Centris Mall in EDSA corner Quezon Avenue gives to the Quezon City community, the same fair trade products and and healthy food experience as the tri-concept ECHOstore-market-café Serendra flagship store in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. The popular hand-made items made by small groups around the country, and natural/organic products as well as some fresh produce like organic salad greens, vegetables, herbs, artisanal cheeses, ice creams, are all available.
A new added feature at Centris Walk is a green kiddie interactive play corner that makes this branch very child-friendly, where parents can leave their children to play in while shopping. The café section is an expandable space for small parties and gatherings and brings the healthy sustainable lifestyle to Quezon City.
Francisco, Operations Director who helped the Chuas set up the branch from scratch says, " We wanted to make sure that our new partners would also be given more freedom to put their own unique personalities into the ECHOstore brand. So we just guided them, trained their staff, and opened our community suppliers to them. What we see is that because the Centris Walk branch has a nice open space in front, the café section can really expand itself to host small "sustainable" parties and gatherings – both for children and adults!"
ECHOstore’s nationwide development directions has secured traceability of all products sold at the store, together with the collaborative efforts with government agencies, funding agencies and other private sector groups towards supporting fair trade and livelihood. Through its Centris Walk branch, Chris and Sharon Chua takes on echoing "ECHO" – Environment, Community, Hope, Organization.
ECHOstore Centris Walk is located at Centris Walk, Eton Centris Mall, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. Now open mall hours.
