DOST Chief says DICT unnecessary

Department of Science and Technology Secretary Mario G. Montejo presents the DOST’s side on the ongoing DICT debate in a forum organized by the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) at the Hotel Intercontinental-Makati. He argued that it may no longer be necessary to create a Department of Information and Communications Technology since the DOST has the competence and experience to uphold the interests of the ICT sector.  (Alan C.
