PBSP signs agreement with
EcoIngenuity Inc. and WPNMPC
The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) recently inked a
Memorandum of Understanding to assist and facilitate business collaboration
between two of its supported enterprises: EcoIngenuity, Inc. and Women for
Progress of Nagpayong Multi-Purpose Cooperative (WPNMPC). This partnership is a
function of PBSP’s Livelihood and Enterprise Development (LED) initiative in
integrating both enterprises’ commercial endeavors, wherein WPNMPC, an adopted
community of EcoIngenuity produces water hyacinth leatherette sheets, a vital
raw material used by EcoIngenuity in its statement bags and journals product
lines. PBSP likewise commits its continuous assistance through various LED
programs.
PBSP is a non-profit organization, the country’s
largest social development foundation, with 240 member companies working
together to promote business sector involvement to reduce poverty in the
country.
