To
help promote photography and support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Epson
Philippines Corporation (EPC) recently sponsored the SAP Digital Photography
Competition.
With
the theme “Technology Innovation & SME Entrepreneurship,” the photo contest
served as a sub-activity at the SAP SME Summit held at the EDSA Shangri-La
hotel.
“The
Small and Medium Enterprises sector is a valued segment for Epson. We have
printers and projectors with high precision digital imaging technologies
specifically targeted for these SMEs. These products provide reliable,
efficient, and environmentally-friendly low-cost solutions for their printing
or projection needs,” said Donna V. Ferro, Epson General Manager.
An
example that Ferro gave was Epson’s K-Series (K100, K200, and K300) monochrome
printers, which are the perfect alternative to laser printers, but with an
extremely low cost of 45¢ per page. For color printing, Epson recommends the
L-Series printers, which are the first branded continuous ink tank system
printers in the world. The Epson L200 printer, Ferro cites, has a page yield of
up to 12,000 pages for black and 6,500 pages for color.
